Writing Advice #2

I have come to realize that aLotof Letting Go must take place once we have put a story out into the world.

Once it is out there, how do we judge its success? Some say reviews. Others say howmanycopiessell. I say something different…

You wrote what you felt needed writing, then you put it out into the world. The world will do with it what it will, it is no longer yours. Have the confidence that you wrote what was in your heart, you were as honest as possible, you bore your soul. That in itself is a great success. What else can you do? Besides promoting it to the best or your ability and believing in it, that is really all.
