Music is an important part of my creative process, I am a violinist and I also listen to music to block out the world when I am writing. I rely heavily on it to get me in the right mood and mind frame. It helps me to immerse myself in the dark and often deadly worlds of which I weave. However, as much as I would love to listen to music with words, it really messes me up. I know a lot of people do, including the great Stephen King, yet alas, music with words is not for me. I found this lovely pianist, today. It’s a mellow day, a world-building day, nothing too exciting, and steady music is what I need.
